The Great Himalaya Trail

The Great Himalaya Trail, GHT, is the ultimate adventure in the Himalayas. It’s so ambitious and demanding that only a few can experience the joy of traversing 1,700 km in the Himalayas of Nepal. What makes it an ultimate adventure is that you’ll trek to the base camp Ôof eight of the world’s highest mountains, traverse high mountain passes, freshwater lakes, diverse landscapes, culture, people, myths and legends, and more.

The Great Himalaya Trail trek takes you from the Kanchenjunga in the east to the Simikot and Humla in the west. In between, you’ll trek to the most established and the best off-beat-path routes.

There’ll be days when you struggle to sleep in the tented camps. Also, there’ll be days when you’ll enjoy the spacious room with a hot blanket and the best meals. And once you end the trek, you’ll take a precious experience that only a few have achieved.
