A tragic event on July 31st 1961, was the cause to name this David’s fall, but later it got changed to Devi’s falls. In Nepali, locals call it Patale Chango, which translates to the Underworld’s Waterfall. As water rushes down the fall, it enters the tunnel at Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and disappears.
