Travel Insurance- A must!
Embarking on a tour to a new country can get smooth with travel insurance. On top, trekking in the Himalayas demands travel insurance with helicopter search and rescue coverage.
When you get altitude sickness, only a helicopter rescue can bring you to low altitude safely. And if you pay the helicopter rescue fee, it costs USD 4000-5000. And bearing this from your pocket won’t be feasible.
However, travel insurance with helicopter rescue coverage pays the rescue fee, which you don’t need to pay. Moreover, travel insurance compensates for injuries, hospitalization costs, loss and damage of personal stuff, and more.
We at NepTrek Adventures recommend you get travel insurance with helicopter evacuation coverage for a honeymoon tour in Nepal. After you book the trek with us, we kindly request you to provide us proof of your travel insurance policy.
